When it comes to branding, there are a lot of different opinions out there. Some people think that you need a brand designer while others believe that you need a brand strategist. So, what is the difference?

1: What Is Branding?

Branding is the process of creating a name, term, design, symbol or other feature that identifies a product or service and distinguishes it from those of other producers. It is an essential element of marketing and is used to create customer loyalty. The goal of branding is to create a unique selling proposition (USP) that will attract customers to the product or service.

There are several different aspects to branding, including name recognition, logo design, color selection, packaging and product design. To create a successful brand, it is important to consider all aspects of the marketing mix — which include advertising, pricing and distribution — in order to reach as many customers as possible.

2: What Does A Brand Designer Do?

3: What Does A Brand Strategist Do?

A brand strategist is responsible for creating and implementing a long-term marketing strategy for a company’s products or services. They may also be involved in developing pricing strategies, creating new product lines or modifying the company’s marketing mix.

A brand strategist must have a strong understanding of customer needs and wants, as well as the competitive landscape. They also need to be able to develop creative solutions to reach target markets, regardless of industry trends.

4: How Do You Determine If You Need A Brand Designer Or Strategist?

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the needs of a particular company will vary depending on its size, industry and target market. However, some factors that may help determine if a company needs a brand designer or strategist include: how well the current branding strategy is working; whether the company’s products or services are easily identifiable; and how much competition the company faces.

Brand strategists typically have a degree in marketing, business or design. Brand designers, on the other hand, may have degrees in graphic design, advertising or product development.
